America’s 250 commemorates a landmark anniversary in the nation’s history, honoring 250 years of resilience, innovation, and cultural evolution. Drawing from the R.W. Norton Art Gallery’s permanent collection, this exhibition brings together works that capture pivotal moments from America’s past to our present. Through a diverse range of artistic perspectives, America’s 250 invites visitors to reflect on the people, events, and stories that have shaped the nation, offering a rich visual journey through two and a half centuries of American life.
