Norton Art Gallery as we read children’s books and take part in creative activities based on fun at the barnyard! \nThis event and activities are most appropriate for children in or around kinderdgarden age. Adults are encouraged to partner in the story and activities with their children. \nThe entirety of this event will be held outdoors. Please be mindful that the museum is closed and there are port-a-jons available outside. There are no water fountains available\, so please bring a water bottle if needed. \nONLY the child(ren) attending needs a ticket. It’s like a book club\, but MUCH better! Along with good fun\, food and drink\, prizes awarded\, and more.\n\n\nIt works like this: We pick a movie that is either available free of charge\, or at minimal cost\, on one or more digital platforms. You watch this movie in the comfort of your own home\, and then we meet at the museum for a discussion led by film expert and director Jeffrey Goodman\, intermixed with trivia and games.\n\n\nWe will be providing complimentary water\, soft drinks\, a signature-themed mocktail\, and light hors d’oeuvres. However\, you are encouraged to bring whatever snacks strike your fancy.\n\n\nThe Kid is a 1921 American silent comedy-drama film written\, produced\, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin\, and features Jackie Coogan as his foundling baby\, adopted son and sidekick. This was Chaplin’s first full-length film as a director. It was a huge success and was the second-highest-grossing film in 1921.
