Admission
There is no admission charge to view the grounds, the museum's art collection, or special exhibitions.
The gardens are open to visitors daily during daylight hours.

Wheelchair Accessibility
Visitors with physical disabilities will find easy entrance to the building as there are no steps from the curb to the front entrance and no stairways inside the Norton on the main museum level. Wheelchairs are available for loan at no charge to visitors for use indoors.
Indoor Photography/Videography Rules
Indoor photography of the artwork is permitted as long as it is for personal use only, not commercial or for profit, and is subject to the following restrictions:
Permission to take photographs inside the museum in no way grants or implies a permission to reproduce or use these photographs in any way without express written permission from the R.W. Norton Art Gallery.
Outdoor Photography/Videography Rules
No commercial photography (photography for hire) or commercial enterprise of any kind will be permitted on the museum grounds. Until 1 July 2013, private outdoor photography is allowed. After that date, all outdoor photography will be prohibited with the exception of legitimate school-affiliated educational photography classes which have made advance appointments.
No videography (commercial or private) will be permitted on the museum grounds.
